Accomodation update
Need a place to stay for Homecoming Weekend? Engsoc is coordintating the rental of student ghetto houses…here’s the info:

“The way it works is that a student would vacate their house from Friday morning to Sunday evening and the alumni could move in. The advantage is that you will be in the centre of the ghetto and not have to walk back to a hotel room at night. In order to keep the students property safe though, we do have the tenants and the alumni sign an agreement that states:

- the times the house will be rented out
- that the alumni will sleep in sleeping bags and not the tenants beds
- that no personal property will be touched, including food.

 The price tag for the rental is $500 (EngSoc doesn’t take any, it goes right to the tenants). Now because the beds aren’t being used, you would probably get more than 5 people in the house (no more than 10 though) so the fee is pretty small for three days.”

FridayFriday, September 15 – 12pm – 6:30pm – Grant Hall – Check in. Go to Grant Hall to check for any updated schedules from the Sci 01 exec.Then go to Ritual… quickly… we’ll be waiting for you

Friday, September 15 – Clark Hall Pub – Sci 01 gets in the door at 8:45pm Don’t be late!
 

Doors open early for Sci01 – you can guess how busy Clark will be, so you might want to get there at 8:30 or even 8:15

SaturdaySaturday, September 16 – 10am – 2pm – Sidewalk SaleSaturday, September 16 – 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Parade from University Ave to Richardson Stadium

Saturday, September 16 – 2 p.m. Homecoming Football Game Kick-Off! Queen’s Golden Gaels v.s. Windsor Lancers at Richardson Stadium
The half-time parade committee will start assembling people around 2:15/2:30. Wear your Sci’01 Jacket, a cowboy hat and if you’re really feeling in the spirit – get Purpled (at the breakfast kegger)!!!

Saturday, September 16 – Evening – TBA – Check back soon. – Please don’t light cars on fire and make the national news
